They say it's just a few weeks. But it feels like another stretch of forever and ever. It used to be that I liked traveling. It used to be that I liked visiting Manila. In fact, it used to be that I looked forward to it. Now all i feel is an empty pit in my stomach.
I need to finally close up, board up the windows, and say goodbye to my childhood home.
